Che Gossett is a trans femme writer, an archivist at the Barnard Center for Research on Women and a PhD candidate in [Xru-Rx-I] trans/gender studies at Rutgers. They have written extensively on black and trans visibility, black trans aesthetics, racial capitalism, and queer, trans and black radicalism, resistance and abolition.

They have published work in the anthologies Queer Necropolitics, Captive Genders and Trans Studies Reader volume II. They are currently a 2019-2020 Helena Rubinstein Fellow in Critical Studies in the Whitney Independent Study Program. They will defend their dissertation in 2020.
